OWNING A HOME COULD HELP SINGLES MINGLE

Interesting, owning a home could make you more attractive to another person. Even more, if that person is a millennial or a woman. That’s according to a survey out from Realtor.com.

Furthermore, singles who want to meet a homeowner may move to the South or the Midwest. That’s because those areas are home to the biggest percentage of single homeowners.

The survey included 500 people who identified as single.

  • 46% of all singles thought homeownership made a potential partner attractive or very attractive.
  • Women were more likely than men to agree with this.
  • Men, however, were slightly more likely to say that it made their potential partner very attractive.

Surprisingly, millennials were the most likely to feel that homeownership boosted someone’s attractiveness and made them more likely to date.
