Trulia has announced the winners of the 2018 Neighborly Awards. This contest pits 10,000 neighborhoods against each other for spectacular supremacy.

National winners in 18 U.S. Cities have been identified using data in the following categories. These include friendliest neighbors, dog-friendliest, most holiday spirit, best social calendar, most walkable, and kid-friendliest.

• Here are the winners….

Dog-Friendliest:
Baldwin Park, Orlando
–Home to the annual Doggie Derby, a road race for dogs that benefits a local charity.

Most Holiday Spirit:
Bridesburg, Philadelphia
– 96% of locals say they decorate their home for the holidays.

Best Social Calendar:
Linden Hills, Minneapolis, Minnesota
–Daily concerts and movies at Lake Harriet, and winter events like Reindeer Day and Winterfest.

• Most Walkable:
Belmont Heights, Long Beach, Calif.
• –locals say they love living in this neighborhood because they “can walk to the beach, dinner or shopping.”

• Kid-Friendliest:
Power Ranch, in Arizona.
–These youngsters are enjoying the neighborhood’s year-round heated pools and over 26 miles of connected trails.

And the winner for Friendliest Neighbors:
Trestle Glen, Oakland, Calif.
–97% of locals report that they say “hi” to their neighbors when they are out and about.
