Almost all home buyers want a laundry room included in their home. That’s more than any other home feature, says the National Association of Home Builders, What Home Buyers Really Want report.
The survey asks recent and prospective home buyers to rank features using a “must have, desirable”, “indifferent”, and “do not want”- scale.
Of the 91% of respondents who want a laundry room, more than half consider it an “essential/must have”. Laundry Rooms were the highest-ranked feature in the category.
Other features on the top ten list are:
-Patio with exterior lighting.
-Also garage storage.
-Walk-in pantries.
-A ceiling fan
-Hardwood flooring
-And a double sink in the kitchen.
